The present management response was prepared by the Brazil CO Project Manager for Women’s Economic Empowerment area, as required according to the UN Women’s Evaluation Policy, discussed with Brazil CO Monitoring, Evaluation and Knowledge Management Analyst, and approved by the UN Women Brazil CO Head of Office. UN Women Brazil CO fully accepts the five recommendations and will incorporate lessons learned in future projects design and initiatives, where appropriate.

Management Response: From the 5 recommendations, the evaluation considered the recommendation as a medium priority that should be implemented in a medium-term timeline. The office assesses that the project designed a strategy for the inclusion of social groups facing vulnerability and, thus, was able to reach a wide range of groups. However, the Office recognizes that some groups, especially ones that faced logistics and mobilization issues, had more difficulty participating in the project, and thus, accepts the recommendation and is committed to incorporating the proposed key actions into the design of new projects.
